Traceability. Transparency. Respect.

When we discover that clothes are being transported across the world, and being exchanged and handled by many people before reaching our closet, our reaction is that we do not want that for our children.

We are convinced that French manufacturing has a bright future ahead and that the local textile industry can be reborn.

Because of this, we spent two years developing and researching the materials we use and our manufacturing process, in order to create a brand that is clean and 100% French.

We are also continuously working to improve our research and our collections. Our goal and ambition are not to focus on the “business” side of things, but to develop a family brand that is 100% French.

The organic production of cotton is obviously the best alternative for the environment, but also the most ethical alternative.

From the seed of the grain to the picking of the flower, organic cotton is grown without pesticides, insecticides, or chemical fertilizers, and without GMOs. Organic cotton also saves water in comparison with common cotton.

In weaving and garment factories, organic cotton is bleached with hydrogen peroxide and not with chlorine. And the dyes that are used must be without carcinogens and heavy metals.

The most reliable label today concerning organic cotton along the entire production chain is the GOTS label (Global Organic Textile Standard). This label only allows the word “organic” to be used for products that contain “at least 95% certified organic fibers”. This label is not the same as the one for products labeled “composed of organic fibers” which, that in comparison only needs to “contain at least 70% of certified organic fibers”.

From the cotton fields to the store, clothes certified with the GOTS label have to be manufactured with respect and human dignity in accordance with the conventions of the International Work Organization.

Durability and handling
High-quality cotton is more durable, which makes it more resistant to accidental tears. As with most natural raw materials, it can shrink when exposed to high temperatures. Consequently, when you wash our products containing cotton, we recommend washing them at 30 degrees.

Elastane is a synthetic chemical material derived from petroleum. Found in a very low percentage of our fabrics, often in association with cotton, it gives flexibility and more lightness to the clothes.

The micro-modal is obtained by the extraction of cellulose from the wood beech. Very similar to regular modal, micro-modal is distinguished by the great fineness of their fiber, which gives a much more smooth and more elegant finish to the clothes.

Micro-modal can be used alone or in combination with other fibers, such as cotton, as is the case for the one-piece  “Pure Joy”.

Durability and handling

It is breathable, soft, and flexible while keeping its shape. It limits the proliferation of odors and bacteria. Unlike cotton, micro-modal does not retain water and therefore dries much faster.

We recommend washing the micro-modal products at 30 degrees.

Polyester fiber is an artificial material derived from petroleum. Known for its resistance and elasticity, polyester is often associated with cotton, which makes clothes easier to wash and dry.
